In some ways, this game that sees Alabama travel to Knoxville to take on Tennessee lost a little of its luster last Saturday. The game should still be a good one. It does, after all, feature the No. 1 team in the country and another top 10 squad, but it would have felt so much bigger if the Vols had been able to beat Texas A&M and this had been a clash of unbeaten teams.
Tennessee has played a very strange brand of football in 2016 and the team has often been down (sometimes big) before rallying to pull off a couple of miracle wins. Something tells me such a strategy will not work against a Crimson Tide squad that is as ruthless as they have ever been under Nick Saban.
