Texas natives could have their own football conference. In fact, if they could have two conferences: Two 10-team conferences with 97 players on each team of the 20 teams. That's possible when your state's players make up 13 percent of all FBS rosters.
MORE: Teams With Most In-State Players
All but seven FBS teams have at least one Texan on their 2019 roster. The seven Texan-less teams: App State, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Maryland, Tennessee, and Western Michigan.
One hundred and two teams have multiple Texans, 42 teams have at least 10 Texans, and 13 teams have at least 50 Texans, including two teams with at least 100 (SMU, 100, and Texas A&M, 105). Texans account for 84 percent of players on Texas State's roster, the highest percent of Texans on any FBS roster. Eight other teams are above 70 percent.
