EARLY 2019 PROJECTION: At this point, a day three type pick … but look for that to rise if his production continues like in 2016.
2016 STATS: Here's the most important stat of all: Stick is 20-2 as a starter at NDSU. Last year he threw for 2,331 yards and 19 TDs, while rushing for 685 and 7 scores.
Stick is a very capable signal caller who seems ready to explode over the next two years, and it seems inevitable that he will lead the Bison to a national title before his career ends (he had a big hand in the 2015 title run as a freshman). With more than 4,500 yards of production the past two years and another 40-plus touchdowns he has been a part of, he is a guy to watch the next two seasons — and scouts most certainly will.
