Cardinals coach Bruce Arians already announced that none of his starters will see the field. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett has made no such proclamation, and instead will wait until gametime to announce his plan — clearly a strategy to make gameplanning tougher for his opponent in this crucial matchup.

The 2017 Hall of Fame Game will be a great opportunity for fans, CFL teams, and Akron-area car dealerships to scout for up-and-coming talent.

The 2016 Hall of Fame Game was called off when the grounds crew in Canton painted the artificial turf field with the wrong type of paint, melted the turf in an attempt to dry said paint, and finally poured caustic chemicals on top of the whole mess. It was canceled immediately prior to kickoff, when league officials realized the field was unsafe for their legal team.

But who could forget the year prior, when Mike Kafka's Minnesota Vikings faced off with Landry Jones' Pittsburgh Steelers in an absolute classic. Jones went 15-for-32 for 128 yards and an interception, while Kafka went 7-for-10 for 66 yards and a score. The two teams converted a total of six third downs in 28 attempts, and produced a few classic highlights:
