A junior linebacker, the Greensburg, Ind. native has been a tackling machine for the BR-222 Panthers. Through eight games so far, Martin has 120 total tackles, including 87 solo stops for an average of 15.3 tackles per game, tops in the nation. The next closest teammate in tackles to Martin is Jake Allgood, with 45 tackles. Yup, put that in perspective — Martin has four games of at least 10 tackles or more this season, including a 21-tackle effort in a 28-21 win over BR 225 Anderson on Oct. 17. Martin also has 10.5 tackles for a loss this season and 3.5 sacks.
