This 6-foot-2, 240-lb. defensive lineman has wrought havoc this season for the BR-9 Crusaders. The Halletsville, Tx. native has 13 sacks this season, and 18.5 tackles for a loss.
Smith, a junior, has registered three sacks or more in two games this season — a 59-13 win over BR 212 Belhaven on Oct. 3, and in a 29-26 loss to BR 12 Hardin-Simmons last week. Smith has been a monster his entire college career. In 34 games, he has 31.5 sacks.
