2. Malik Grove (Jr.) Notre Dame (OH)

Malik Grove has a stellar 21-1 TD:INT ratio this season (Lianna Holub/DC Athletics)
| Comp.-Att. (Pct.) | Passing Yards | Passing TD | INT | Rushing Yards | Rushing TD |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 102-180 (56.7) | 1,611 | 21 | 1 | 388 | 1 |
The Notre Dame Falcons are here to stay for the 2016 season, in no small part due to the play of their super-athlete QB, Malik Grove.
Following a 2015 campaign that resulted in a Second-Team MEC honor, Grove is back for more, just three scores away from matching his 2015 total of 25 touchdown passes. The Falcon defense has been much better this season, so Grove has had shorter fields to work with and therefore fewer passing yards, but the production has been top-notch.
Similar to the aforementioned Hall, it looks like a D2 playoff berth is in the future for this young passer. It will be his first time there, so it will be interesting to see the effects of the big stage on the kid. But if he continues to go off, NDC could be a dark horse to take the region.
