Surprisingly, only two of the 130 FBS teams open the 2018 college football season with two consecutive road games. Not games away from home (i.e. neutral site); two true road games.
Who are the teams?
One hint: One team is Power Five team and the other is a Group of Five team.

Answer
Appalachian State and North Carolina
For the third straight season, Appalachian State opens on the road, but unlike 2016 and 2017, their second game is also on the road.
The Mountaineers visit Penn State in Week 1 for their first-ever meeting with the Nittany Lions and Charlotte in Week 2 for their first-ever meeting with the 49ers. App State returns to Boone for three straight home games (and four of their next five at home) but does play three straight road games later in the season.
North Carolina is a rare Power Five team to play consecutive road games to start the season. They finish the second half of a home-and-home series with Cal in Week 1 and then visit ECU in Week 2.
