The Iron Bowl averaged 13,657,000 viewers, barely edging the 13,466,000 viewers that watched Auburn beat Georgia a week earlier.
The third-highest regular-season game also featured Alabama. An average of 12,335,000 fans watched the Tide's demolition of Florida State in Week 1.
