The Pac-12 was formed in 1915 as the Pacific Coast Conference. Current league members Oregon, Oregon State and Washington were among the founding members. It was renamed the Athletic Association of Western Universities (AAWU) from 1959–68 and became the Pac-8 in 1968 and Pac-10 in 1978.
All 10 teams from 1978 are still members. Which one of those original Pac-10 members has never played in the Rose Bowl?
