Which state is home to the most FBS teams?
Forty-one states are home to at least one active FBS program. Thirty-three of those states have at least two programs and eight have at least five.
Hint: It's not Idaho or Minnesota. Or Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, Wisconsin or Wyoming.

If you didn't know the answer, you were likely bouncing between California, Florida, Texas and maybe another state or two. Texas is the winner and it's not even close.
The Longhorn State has four more teams than other state. Ohio is second (eight), followed by California, Florida and North Carolina (seven). Alabama, Louisiana and Michigan each have five.
