College football coaches usually spend their spring game worrying about injuries. Turns out University of Charleston coach Pat Kirkland should've also been worrying about security.
With Kirkland's team preoccupied with their spring game on Thursday night, one man sought to take advantage of that.
During the Golden Eagles' scrimmage at Laidley Field, John Selbe Jr. allegedly entered the locker room and began collecting players' and coaches' cell phones, according to WSAZ News.

The Charleston police said Selbe stole more than $1,000 worth of phones before being caught. He was arraigned on Friday morning and charged with grand larceny. It is unknown if he broke into the locker room or entered through an open door. It was not reported if he was caught after exiting the facility and campus.
