The roadrunner isn't the most imposing or terrifying bird on the planet. Maybe the folks at UT-San Antonio are trying to change that for the ground-dwelling species.
For the Roadrunners' football game against North Texas on Saturday, Oct. 29, two days before Halloween, they'll don special "Blackbird" uniforms. The all-black digs feature orange accents, including chrome numbers and a spectacular black helmet with a large orange decal.
