The NFL preseason is a weird time of the year when people are so desperate for football that even casual fans will flip on a game featuring players fighting for third and fourth spots on the depth chart. Yes, it's football, but, it's not regular season football.

As you'd expect, there's lots of, let's say "learning experiences" going on in the preseason, especially early in the preseason. There's a lot of players in these games who've never played in an NFL game before, and some who've never played in a big stadium before.
To be clear — the terrible plays in this lowlight reel aren't just rookies and young players. Some high-paid players make some horrible decisions, as evidenced by the $32 combined million Mike Glennon and Brock Osweiler will make this season despite the horrific interceptions they threw in week one of the preseason.
And then there was the Rams-Cowboys matchup which featured nine freaking fumbles.
