Nebraska looked like they would be a team to be reckoned with in the Big Ten for most of the 2016 season. Then the Huskers fall apart down the stretch, losing four of their last six games and leaving us with no real clue of how they will perform this fall.
On the surface, this looks like a team in transition. The Huskers return only 12 starters, they will be bedding in a new quarterback, and they have a new defensive coordinator brought in by head coach Mike Riley to boost that unit.
