North Carolina State is not a team many casual college football fans are talking about as we approach in on the 2017 season. The Wolfpack appear on many preseason college football top 25 polls, so maybe this is a squad that we should be putting more stock in as a challenger — or at least a big time spoiler — in the ACC race.
After almost knocking off both Clemson and Florida State last year, the Wolfpack is back under Dave Doeren with a veteran laden team that seems closer than ever to breaking though. The Atlantic Division is a tough one, but NC State has one of the best defensive lines in the country and an improving quarterback in Ryan Finley.
