BR-2 Ferris State quarterback Jason Vander Laan became the top rushing quarterback in college football history in a 38-17 victory over BR-31 Ohio Dominican this weekend. It’s worth noting that this record doesn’t only apply to D2 football, it applies to ALL levels of college football.
Vander Laan reacted to his record in the classiest way possible on Twitter, giving a shout-out to his offensive line.
Just want to say biggest thanks to the O-line who grind everyday without ever complaining. Our team would be hopeless without you guys!!

In his career, Vander Laan has rushed for an incredible 5,218 yards. Check out his interview on ESPN’s SportsCenter, and maybe watch out for him to jump into your favorite NFL team’s radar for the 2016 draft.
