There's winning national championships, and then there's winning national championships in sudden death overtime.
The list of college athletes that can lay claim to nailing the game-winner in the extra session is short, but North Carolina's Chris Cloutier just added himself to that list by nailing the deciding goal in the 2016 National Championship lacrosse matchup with Maryland.
Check out the title-winning goal the school is sure to show for decades to come.

The incredible ending almost didn't happen. The Tar Heels began overtime shorthanded, but goalie Brian Balkam came up with this gorgeous save to keep his team's season alive.
