For the first time this season, neither Clemson nor Georgia is No. 2 in the Top 100 College Football Rankings. That spot belongs to Notre Dame, who hopped both the Tigers and Bulldogs to claim their highest ranking of the season.
The Irish, who obliterated then-No. 15 Syracuse at Yankee Stadium and are 60 minutes away from a College Football Playoff berth, sit behind only Alabama in the Week 13 Rankings.
Nine teams jumped at least 10 spots, led by Maryland (18 spots), Ohio (17) and Nebraska (16). Meanwhile, 12 teams fell at least 10 spots, including Virginia Tech (12), Michigan State (12) and USC (10).
