For the first time ever, Alabama won't be ranked in the top six of the College Football Playoff Rankings.
Entering this season, the Crimson Tide were one of three teams to appear in all 32 playoff rankings since 2014 (Clemson and Ohio State are the others). And they were never close to dropping out, staying inside the top six in all 32 of those rankings. They remained in the top five in each of the first four rankings this season. But following their Week 14 loss to Auburn, Alabama will drop at least two spots in the Week 15 playoff rankings.
