Week 4 College Football Odds: Why the “Under” is Smart for Northwestern vs. Michigan State

Michigan State has failed to score 10 points in five of their eight games vs. Power Five opponents. And oddsmakers don't like their chances of a big offensive performance vs. Northwestern in Week 4. 

One week after scoring seven points in a loss to Arizona State, Michigan State visits Northwestern, who is three weeks removed from a seven-point showing at Stanford. Currently, the over/under point total for the Spartans-Wildcats is 39.5.
