For the second straight week, Army made a significant jump in the Group of Five rankings, and for the first time this season, the Black Knights are in the top five.
Army, one week after nearly beating Oklahoma, walloped previously unbeaten Buffalo, 42-13, on the road, to improve their record to 3-2. App State, meanwhile, replaced North Texas at No. 3 after the Mountaineers smoked South Alabama and the Mean Green were upset by Louisiana Tech.
