Buffalo, one win away from tying the program's single-season record, is No. 10 in the Week 9 Group of Five Rankings, their highest ranking of the season.
Buffalo beat Toledo, 31-17, in Week 8 to reach 7-1 for the first time since 1959 and remained perfect (4-0) in the MAC. They jumped four spots in the Group of Five rankings and nine spots in the FBS Top 100 Rankings to No. 49, also their highest ranking of the season.
Also in the top 10 for the first time in 2018 is Temple, who ended Cincinnati's perfect season with an overtime victory on Saturday.
