West Alabama, Grand Valley State, Cal (PA) Lead D2 Schools with Most NFL Players

As NFL teams look to narrow down 90-man rosters to 53-man regular season squads, they will have their pick of players from all levels of college football, including Division 2. The level has 132 players currently on NFL Training Camp rosters, and those 131 players come from 74 different Division 2 institutions.

When you break down those 74 schools, you'll find that 28 Division 2 schools have at least 2 players on an NFL training camp roster. Eight schools have four or more players.

The list is led by a trio of schools with six players each on NFL Training Camp Rosters.

West Alabama, Cal (PA) and Grand Valley State each have six players fighting for a spot on a 53-man roster. Valdosta State is just behind with five players on NFL training camp rosters, and West Texas A&M, West Georgia, Ferris State and Colorado State-Pueblo each have four players on a roster.
