The 2016 Popeyes Bahamas Bowl features a matchup between Eastern Michigan and Old Dominion in Nassau, Bahamas.
This year's Bahamas Bowl is the third game in the bowl's history. Western Kentucky defeated Central Michigan in 2014 by a 49-48 score, and Western Michigan defeated Middle Tennessee 45-31 last year.

The Bahamas Bowl will be Old Dominion's first bowl game in school history. The Monarchs transitioned from the FCS to FBS level in 2014, and find themselves in a bowl game just two years later.
Eastern Michigan will play in just its second-ever bowl game this season, and its first since the 1987 California Bowl, which the Eagles won 30-27 over San Jose State.
2016 marks the third straight season that Eastern Michigan and Old Dominion will play each other. Old Dominion holds a 2-0 record in the career series, defeating Eastern 17-3 in 2014 and 38-34 last season.
Eastern Michigan will look to earn its first victory over Old Dominion after finishing the 2016 season with a 7-5 record, taking fourth place in the Mid-American Conference West Division.
The Eagles are led by quarterback Brogan Roback (2,394 yards, 16 TDs), running back Ian Eriksen (741 yards, nine TDs) and wide receiver Sergio Bailey II (799 yards, six TDs).
Old Dominion went 9-3 overall in 2016, taking second place in the Conference USA East Division.
The Monarchs feature quarterback David Washington (2,648 yards, 28 TDs), running back Ray Lawry (1,122 yards, 11 TDs) and wide receiver Zach Pascal (893 yards, eight TDs).
Old Dominion is a four-point favorite in a game with an over/under of 65 points.
