Tufts' kicker Willie Holmquist was born almost entirely deaf, and didn't receive hearing aids until he was two years old.
Holmquist was a walk-on for Tufts football, out of Half Hallow West High School IN Dix Hills, NY, and is on track to be the program's all-time leading scorer. He was named Tufts Specialist of the Year in 2015 and has been the NESCAC Player of the Week a number of times throughout his career.
