Last season's college football title game was an instant classic for the ages as Alabama knocked off Georgia 26-23 in overtime. It shouldn't come as much of a surprise then that these newly released college football win totals for 2018 have the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs at the top. What's interesting is that a team that didn't even make the postseason a year ago is sitting right alongside these SEC powers.

Ohio State was on the outside looking in last year despite an 11-2 regular season mark, but missing the playoffs hasn't detoured oddsmakers from projecting the Buckeyes' 2018 win total at 10.5 — the same as Alabama and Georgia.
Along with a wealth of returning talent in Columbus, the schedule shakes out pretty well for Urban Meyer and company. The squad doesn't play a true road game until the last Saturday of September and gets hated rival Michigan at home.
The two biggest challenges for Ohio State by far will be conference road games at Penn State on September 29 and Michigan State on November 10.
