Throughout the summer we've seen a lot of college football teams unveil new looks, and Division 2's Winston-Salem State has joined in on the fun with an impressive re-brand.

A prominent D2 program, Winston-Salem State's old logo was seen fairly often in championship environments, especially in football where the CIAA member has been a consistent champion or playoff participant. It was time for a fresh, new look — boy, did the Rams deliver.
The university unveiled a brand-new look this past week that turned WSSU from a school with a traditional emblem into a program with one of the best in all of college athletics.

The new logo is a fierce looking Ram, much better than any other iteration of the mascot in collegiate or professional athletics. The colors stand out, the font is stylized, bold and captivating, and the red ram horns stand out.
But the best part of this new logo is that it comes in multiple schemes, with red, white, and black combinations used in 10 different manners for just the Ram alone. To view the complete collection of the Winston-Salem State logos, you can click here.
While we haven't yet seen the logo in action on the field or court, we have seen some glimpses of the finished product for new uniforms from various media streams, such as HBCU Gameday on Twitter.
