Emmanuel Pregnon, a former Group of Five star offensive lineman, has chosen to transfer to USC, he said Wednesday on Twitter.
Pregnon, a 6-foot-6, 318-pound upcoming sophomore from Denver, earned All-American honors as Wyoming’s starting right guard in 2022.
USC was the latest offer Pregnon had announced he had received about a week ago. He also had Power Five offers from Mississippi State, Cal, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, LSU, Miami, Tennessee, Penn State, Arizona State, Auburn, Kentucky, Washington State, Colorado, Ole Miss, UCLA, Indiana, Oregon, Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue, and Arizona. He also had a Group of Five offer from Charlotte.
Pregnon was tied for 38th in Pro Football Focus’ grades of all guards in the country who played at least 20% of the most snaps. He was fourth among Mountain West guards in that area.
In 2022, he allowed just seven quarterback pressures with four hurries and two sacks given up. He had a PFF pass blocking efficiency of 98.4.
