Jalen Hurts Outgains Deshaun Watson
Yes, he's a true freshman and Deshaun Watson is a two-time Heisman Trophy finalist, but Hurts will not only have the opportunity to throw the ball some, he's one of Alabama's biggest threats on the ground and it's difficult to scheme for a running quarterback without risking key defenders leaving their assignments too early.
Hurts is no slouch with his arm, either, and has weapons in ArDarius Stewart and Calvin Ridley.
Watson will almost certainly get his, but if Clemson can't slow down Alabama's running game they may receive fewer opportunities to possess the ball, handing Hurts an advantage.
