NFL DRAFT: 5 Fits for the Oakland Raiders at No. 24

2016: 12-4, first place AFC West
2017 DRAFT: No. 24

Offensive Ranks

TOTAL PASSING RUSHING YPC SACKS
373.3 (6th) 253.2 (13th) 120.1 (6th) 4.4 (10th) 18 (1st)

Defensive Ranks

TOTAL PASSING RUSHING YPC SACKS
375.1 (26th) 257.5 (24th) 117.6 (23rd) 4.5 (25th) 25 (32nd)

NEEDS

1. MLB: Oakland is set with Bruce Irvin and Khalil Mack at outside linebacker, but needs help on the interior to shore up a bottom-third of the league rushing defense.
2. CB: Oakland's pass defense isn't any better — the Raiders struggled at the position despite off-season changes at cornerback last year.
3. DT: Continuing the trend of defensive help, Oakland could add some interior defensive line strength with their first selection.
4. RB: Latavious Murray is a free agent, and the Raiders could try to add another playmaker to an already explosive offense.

Zach Cunningham, LB — Vanderbilt

Widely considered one of the best inside linebackers in the 2017 NFL Draft, Cunningham is behind only Alabama's Reuben Foster in most mocks. Still, inside linebacker isn't a highly-drafted position, and Cunningham should be around when the Raiders make their selection.

Malik McDowell, DT — Michigan State

The Michigan State product is ready to step into an NFL defensive line immediately. The 6-foot-6, 276-pound defensive lineman has the range to play all over the defensive line, and could be a huge asset for a defense looking to solidify at several levels.

Adoree Jackson, CB — USC

The USC stud filled multiple roles for the Trojans on offense, defense and special teams, but Oakland could really use his talents in the defensive backfield. Oakland had a poor pass defense last season, and Jackson could help solve the problem.

Alvin Kamara, RB — Tennessee

If the Raiders choose to go offensive wih their first pick, Tennessee running back Alvin Kamara could step in and provide a spark. He has some injury and off-the-field concerns, but is a proven playmaker.

Tre'Davious White, CB — LSU

Another potential cornerback the Raiders could select is LSU's Tre'Davious White. Like USC's Jackson, White offers versatility as a returner as well as a defensive back. He's a corner capable of being left alone on an island.
