Two years after a one-win season, Baylor is in the middle of the Big 12 title race and has one of the more friendly (and realistic) paths to the College Football Playoff in the nation.
Baylor improved to 5-0 with a Week 6 win at Kansas State and has a great shot at 6-0 with a home game vs. Texas Tech in Week 7. If the Bears continue rolling, they could enter their Week 12 home game vs. Oklahoma with a 9-0 record. It's still too early to call Baylor a true playoff contender, but there's no denying a favorable path.
