Barring chaos elsewhere, the ACC is not a two-bid playoff conference, nor is the ACC in a great spot for a one-loss playoff team. And while Clemson remains a heavy favorite for a fifth straight playoff appearance as they seek a third national championship in the last four seasons, there's a significant hurdle in their path: Wake Forest.
Wake Forest is 5-0 and in good position to be 9-0 entering their Week 11 game at Clemson, which determine the Atlantic Division title and, potentially, playoff positioning for the conference.
