College football is meaningless in the scope of reality, a reality that unfortunately includes horrific terrorist attacks like those that occurred in Paris on Friday.
One day after gunmen and suicide bombers carried out numerous attacks across the city, killing at least 125 people and injuring an unknown number, millions of people around the globe continued to show their support and solidarity. Among those were hundreds in the sports world, including BR-9 Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones.
Jones, relegated to backup duty against BR-60 Illinois with the return of J.T. Barrett following a one-game suspension, honored the victims, their families and friends and all others affected with a simple “Pray for Paris” symbol on his cleats.
