No. 50 Justin Falcinelli
Clemson – C
Justin Falcinelli is an avid video game player and wanted to take his gaming to the next level. However, switching from a game console to a PC was an expensive jump the Clemson center couldn't afford. So he built one — and then he built one for his family.
"My coaches think I wire up electronics and stuff like that," he told the Independent Mail last year, "but it’s not that complex.”
If building a computer isn't "complex", replacing Jay Guillermo, Clemson's two-year starting center and one of the best interior lineman in program history, should be a walk in the park. That's correct, or at least Falcinelli made it look like a walk in the park.
Falcinelli, a 6-foot-4, 305-pound former three-star recruit from Middletown, Md., started all 14 games last season as Guillermo's replacement and earned All-ACC First-Team honors. He had 22 knockdown blocks in 932 snaps and enters his redshirt senior season as the best No. 50 in college football.
