How many FBS schools don't have "University" in their official name?
This is a widely circulated trivia question that most college sports fans know but it's still an interesting one, especially as some smaller, lesser-known schools have joined the FBS in recent years.
Did any of the recent additions alter the answer to this question?

Answer
4: Air Force, Army, Boston College and Navy
To answer the second question above, no, none of the recent additions (e.g. Coastal Carolina or Liberty) are void of "University." Therefore, the answer remains the same.
Three of the schools are service academies that have "Academy" in their official name, while the other is Boston College, which has never had "University" in its name in over 150 years of existence.
