Which FBS teams enter the 2018 season with the longest active winning and losing streaks?
No, the losing streak does not belong to Kansas (as usual the photo means nothing). The answer to every futility-related question isn't always Kansas. The Jayhawks do, however, have the longest losing streak among Power Five teams (11 games) but not the longest in the FBS. They beat Southeast Missouri in Week 1 last year before losing their final 11 games.

Answer
Winning: UCF (13 games), Losing: UTEP (12)
UCF closed the 2016 season with a three-game losing streak before reeling off 13 straight victories last year. Florida Atlantic (10 games) is the only other FBS team with at least a 10-game winning streak.
UTEP went 4-8 in 2016 but they did win their season finale vs. North Texas. They lost all 12 games last year, their first winless season since 1973 and third in program history.
