College football is finally back!
That means incredible upsets, amazing catches, and 14-hour couch marathons on Saturdays (assuming you're not already tailgating at the game).

It also means point spreads, moneylines, and over-unders are back, which is why we'll give you the most interesting college football odds during each week of the season.

Closest Spread: Massachusetts -2.5 over Coastal Carolina
UMass will have the honors of playing in the first ever FBS game for Coastal Carolina. You don't typically see a spread this close in a former FCS' squads first game after moving up, but the Chanticleers won the Big South title four times since 2010.
Don't be surprised if Coastal Carolina comes into the Sun Belt and immediately starts contending for a title just as Georgia Southern and Appalachian State have in recent years.
For its part, Massachusetts will try to recover from last week's devastating loss to Hawaii.

Biggest Spread: Oklahoma -43 over UTEP
The biggest point spread of week one belongs to Oklahoma as the Sooners are 43-point favorites over visiting UTEP.

Biggest Moneyline: Maryland +850 (at Texas)
The largest moneyline on the board belongs to Maryland at plus 850 as the Terps travel to Texas in Tom Herman's debut.

Team Most Likely to Cover the Spread: Alabama -7 over Florida State
If there's one betting pattern I live by it's betting on Alabama when it's a big game, especially a huge season opener, and bet against the Tide when they are at home to teams from non-Power 5 conferences.
This is what happened last year when Bama blew out USC in the season opener to cover by a mile, but failed to do so at home to Western Kentucky later in the year.

Best Moneyline Bet: Wyoming +360
Betting the moneyline can provide an incredible return on your wager, but of course that means the underdog needs to win outright.
I like Wyoming at plus 360 as they travel to play Iowa. The Hawkeyes played a similar game at home last year to North Dakota State and lost outright 23-21. Iowa also nearly lost a home season opener against Northern Iowa in 2015 but managed to escape 31-23.
This could also be the breakout game for Cowboys' QB Josh Allen who has been talked about all summer as a potential first round pick in next year's NFL Draft.

Most Head-Scratching Line: Navy -9.5 over Florida Atlantic
It feels like the betting public is jumping all over the Lane Kiffin train, which is why Navy is favored by nine and a half over Florida Atlantic. I'd jump all over the Midshipmen's option attack that should shred an Owl's defense that was dead last in the conference in stopping the run last year and 119th overall (245.4 yards per game).
