As noted in yesterday's trivia question, Bryce Love is the first draft-eligible player in FBS history to return to school after rushing for at least 2,000 yards in the previous season. If Love, who had 2,118 yards last year — tops the 2,000-yard mark again, he'll become the second-ever player to run for at least 2,000 yards in two separate seasons
Entering the 2018 season, who's the only player with multiple 2,000-yard rushing seasons?

Answer
Troy Davis – Iowa State
Troy Davis failed to rush for 200 yards as a freshman for Iowa State in 1994 but exploded a year later, leading the nation with 2,010 yards and earning First-Team All-America honors. He led the nation again — and again earned First-Team All-America honors, the only two-time consensus First-Team All-American in Iowa State history — with 2,185 yards.
Davis had a staggering 747 carries over those two seasons.
