In September 2013, two months after EA Sports NCAA Football 14 was released, Electronic Arts announced they would not release a game in 2014. While users could still play NCAA Football 14 and previous versions, 2014 would be the first year in more than two decades that a new college football video game would not be available.
The game was released annually as NCAA Football from 1997 through 2013. The series, however, began four years earlier when EA released the first game.
What was the original name of EA Sports NCAA Football?

Answer
Bill Walsh College Football
Prior to NCAA Football, the game was called College Football USA for two years (College Football USA 96 and College Football USA 97). But before that, the game was originally released as Bill Walsh College Football in 1993, named after then-Stanford head coach Bill Walsh.
Bill Walsh College Football came out in 1993 and Bill Walsh College Football '95 was released a year later.
