BR-46 Albion
5.09 Points Per Red Zone Trip
Just edging out Johns Hopkins and DePauw for the fourth spot on the list is Albion. The Britons have amassed a total of 168 points in their 33 trips to the red zone (27 TDs, 2 FG Made), and only failed to score on four attempts. Their scoring rate of .879 is slightly lower than the Blue Jays’ .889, and the Tigers’ .882, but because the Brits score more touchdowns and fewer field goals per red zone appearance, their overall points per trip figure is slightly better.
Albion is 6-0, and after midseason adjustments, have made a huge climb in the D3 ranks this season from a preseason BR-110 to BR-46. They’re the top-ranked team in the MIAA and for good reason — their offense is darn near unstoppable.
