Transfers
Kelly Bryant transferred to Mizzou to be the starting quarterback, but the road for transferring quarterbacks isn't always easy. Here's an interesting look at the success and failure stories of transferring quarterbacks over the last few years.

Fresno State
In the early 2000s, Georgia held 42 consecutive opponents under 30 points per game, the longest streak in the FBS since 2000. And while an active streak isn't threatening Georgia yet, Fresno State has the nation's longest active streak and, with key returnees at all three levels, could begin sniffing their fellow Bulldogs with a strong start to the 2019 season.
Side note: Fresno State at USC in Week 1 could be a hell of a lot of fun.

No End in Sight?
Alabama and Clemson have met four times in five seasons of the College Football Playoff, including three times in the national championship. Is Alabama-Clemson V on the horizon?
Bill Bender of the Sporting News explains why "there's no end in sight" for their annual matchups.

Not Football
But this is solid content. This week on High Motor, I spoke with Mark Madsen, new Utah Valley head coach. And he talked shopping with Shaq ("You can’t be rolling into the Staples Center in that Astro van that has a dent on the side.”), college hoops corruption trials and more.

This Year's Kentucky?
Last year, Kentucky entered the national conversation with an 11-point road win over Florida in Week 2. And, despite an overtime loss to Texas A&M in Week 6, the Wildcats remained in that conversation entering one of the biggest regular-season games in program history: vs. Georgia in Week 10.
Kentucky lost that game, 34-17, and dropped an ugly game at Tennessee a week later on their way to a 9-3 regular season. And while it was still the program's most regular-season wins in 41 years, they fell well short of a division title and playoff contention, both of which were real possibilities entering Week 10.
Who's this year's Kentucky? And under-the-radar team who could impress early, stay afloat with unimpressive wins against subpar teams and enter the "How about them…" conversation.
Here are three teams who could be this year's Kentucky.

West Point Rarity
It's not often that Army gets a Power Five home game. From 2014-19, Army will play only one Power Five team at home: Duke (twice).

Remember When…
Georgia Southern shocked Florida, 26-20, in 2013, the Gators' first-ever loss to an FCS team. And while the loss itself was pathetic, the Gators' blocking was icing on the cake:
