Trailing Toledo 3-0 midway through the opening quarter, Eastern Michigan lined up for a 50-yard field goal. Eagles' Paul Fricano misfired — badly. He had plenty of distance but the kick sailed at least five yards to the right of the upright.
The unidentified play-by-play announcer saw the miss very clearly but the color commentator — also unidentified — thought it hit the crossbar and went through.
