When Penn State wants to run the football from the QB position they often bring backup quarterback Tommy Stevens onto the field. That's what they did against Northwestern Saturday, to hilarious results.

Stevens takes the handoff from Trace McSorely on the read-option look, then tries to leap the pile — at the 5-yard line. He manages to land on his feet before falling forward for a couple of yards, getting ruled down by contact before the ball popped out of his hands.
