Once upon a time, kicker Eddy Piñeiro was only known as a trick shot artist. Now he's developing into one of the elite kickers in college football.
Piñeiro, a redshirt sophomore at Florida, hit all 32 of his PATs last season and was 21-for-25 on field goals, earning Second-Team All-SEC honors and one SEC Player of the Week nod after hitting three field goals in a 16-10 win over LSU.
Though it was a great productive first season as the Gators' primary kicker, it'll feel like child play if he does anything in 2017 that's remotely close to what he did in practice on Tuesday.
Piñeiro hit an 81-yard field goal. Off the ground. In pads. In real life.
