Today the team got a much needed morale boost from none other than Ellen Degeneres.
As you may remember, this video of former MC Hammer backup dancer and current SJSU coach Alonzo Carter went viral over the summer. Today the talk show host gave Carter and the Spartans a chance to talk about their involvement in the local community.
And then she gave them this monster check for $25,000 to help support the team's philanthropic endeavors.
