Seriously, this game was crazy.
In losing, Buffalo quarterback Drew Anderson went 35-of-61 for 597 yards and 7 touchdowns without an interception, and rushed for a touchdown too.
Western Michigan QB Jon Wassink went 23-of-29 for 256 yards, 5 TDs and an interception, while Jarvion Franklin carried the ball 37 times for 176 yards and three scores, including the game-winner. Levante Bellamy carried 11 times for 131 yards and a score, too.
The game tied for the longest college football game in history.
Last two 7-OT games in FBS history
– 2017: Western Michigan 71, Buffalo 68
– 2006: North Texas 25, FIU 22That North Texas-FIU game may be the dumbest in FBS history. 5-0 at halftime. I would read the oral history of that game. https://t.co/gedTNArza9
