Keeping up with the spending of some of the power conference teams in college football is getting more challenging. Because those schools have so much in terms of financial resources, they can afford to pay the best coaches and players to come to their schools.
But there are still some G6 programs that can pay their coaches some pretty solid salaries.
Here’s a ranking of the highest-paid coaches in the MAC, according to USA Today’s numbers from last year:

Note: Not every head coaching salary is public information, as they might coach at a private school, so not every figure is available in USA Today’s database. Also, some of these coaches are no longer with their teams. Lastly, Northern Illinois won’t be on this list with the Huskies going to the Mountain West.
