I’m predicting Toledo will win but Eastern Michigan will cover the spread at +18.5. I also believe the game will go Under 46.5 total points.
EMU is coming off a 45-21 loss to Western Michigan. However, while the Eagles are 4-5 overall, their average scoring differential is less than four points per game. EMU has allowed the fourth-fewest points per game in the MAC (22.3), and I think the team’s defense will help keep this game close.
However, Toledo is at home, and the Rockets are first in the conference in scoring (34.4 points per game) and third in scoring defense (19.3 points per game). They should end up winning with star Dequan Finn at quarterback.
