Western Kentucky and Old Dominion, two Group of Five teams which won their last two games to end the regular season, will face off in the Famous Toastery Bowl.
WKU (7-5) didn’t reach the Conference USA Championship like many imagined the Hilltoppers would, but they still had one of the most productive passing offenses in the FBS this year.
ODU’s last three wins have been against Georgia State, Georgia Southern, and App State, all bowl-eligible teams out of the Sun Belt. The Monarchs (6-6) might give WKU some issues.

ODU is a -2.5 college football betting odds favorite against Western Kentucky, with the Over/Under being 55.5.
The moneyline for Old Dominion is -140, while it’s +115 for the Hilltoppers.
Famous Toastery Bowl On TV
The WKU-ODU matchup in the Famous Toastery Bowl will be televised on ESPN.
The game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. ET on Monday, Dec. 18, at Jerry Richardson Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I’m picking Western Kentucky to win and cover the spread at +2.5. I also am predicting the game will go Over 55.5 total points.
I think the Hilltoppers are much better than many people give them credit for. They went 7-5 while playing in CUSA, but their five losses were against Ohio State, Troy, Jacksonville State, Liberty, and New Mexico State – all very talented teams.
ODU also has some impressive wins, but the Monarchs have been inconsistent. I could see WKU’s offense making this a high-scoring game en route to triumphing.
